The Central Library of this College is situated in the 2nd Floor of the College Building where the Lecture Theatres and Examination Halls are nearby. The Library is functioning from 8.30 A.M. to 10.00 P.M. daily including Sundays and Public Holidays as per the demand of the Medical Students. Sometimes it is getting noisy and crowded, thereby causing disturbances to the readers in the library. There is constant demand from the students to make provision of a separate building for the Library. Necessary proposal has since been submitted to Govt. for provision of funds for construction of a separate building for the library.
The following additional staffs are also required for smooth functioning of the library. In this connection necessary proposals for creation of additional staff of Class-III and Class-IV posts as detailed below at par with other two medical colleges of the state have already been submitted to DMET, Orissa as well as Govt., Health & F. W. Department for early consideration.
