he M.K.C.G. Medical College & Hospital the temple of Medical Education and service to the humanity was established in 1962, fully functional in 1964. Since then it is rendering untiring service mainly to the people of Southern Orissa and part of the Andhra Pradesh. Apart from undergraduate teaching, Post-graduate teachings are also available in as many as 18 Non-clinical & Clinical departments. The first ever A.R.T. (Anti-Retroviral Therapy) Centre was established in this Institution to cater the need of the people living with HIOV & AIDS. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Centre to serve the need of disable people, the only one in Orissa, is a glorious achievement. Govt. Nursing College with facilities of Basic B.Sc Nursing Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing education is available inside campus. Specialist and Super specialisation services in the discipline of Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrionology, Cardio Thoracic Surgery, Genitourinary Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Neuro-Surgery are available around the clock.
